- Providing legal support in relation to negotiations and/or relationships with performer organisations and
the performer community as a whole. Performers are not members of Tube in the company law sense
but are statutorily entitled to receive equitable remuneration from Tube and are a very important
constituency for us. Providing an effective collection and distribution service for performers is
accordingly a significant undertaking for Tube
- Providing legal support for corporate governance and business development activities, as well as
internal/administrative functions – examples being employment issues (supporting HR), property issues
(supporting Facilities), data protection, IT procurement etc.
- Provide legal and business affairs advice in relation to the following:
licensee queries, issues and disputes;
negotiation and drafting of licences for major licensees;
development of new or revised licensing models, especially for the digital environment;
record company membership documentation, queries, issues and disputes;
performer registration documentation, queries, issues and disputes;
