Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada's expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology and Graphic Design. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.
Applications are invited for the position of Data Coordinator, Healthcare Language Training at Niagara College KSA, Al Ahsa female campus. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Data Coordinator is responsible for the collection, retention and reporting of data relating to student assessment and attendance. The Data Coordinator will work closely with the Academic Manager to identify and act upon statistical trends in order to maximize student success rates.
This position has a duration of 6.5 months, with possibility for renewal.
The proposed start date is March 25th. It is expected that the successful candidate be flexible in terms of hours of work and maintain confidentiality, diplomacy and tact regarding internal and external relations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the Learner Management System (LMS) has been completed by close of business every day
- Produce weekly reports for the Project Manager by close of business on Thursday
- Verify weekly reports before sending to the Program Manager every Friday before 1:00pm
- Highlight discrepancies in data between the LMS and the weekly reports, and investigate the causes (e.g. excused absences)
- Investigate anomalies in data for attendance, excused absences, and testing
- Verify data from Aptis, British Council, and CoE
- Communicate data to Academic Managers
- Receive payroll information from Academic Managers and submit to the project manager for approval
- Hold scheduled meetings with students to discuss attendance issues
- Ensure all student contracts are signed and stored correctly
- Communicate with students through the LMS system
