Key responsibilities

• Petty Cash Disbursement
• 
  
• Updation of Customers Receipts & Cheques
  Deposit in Bank
• 
  

Key tasks

• Verifying & Disbursement of Expense Claim
  submitted by staff upon approval as per the authority matrix.
• 
  
• Checking the Arithmetical Accuracy of the claim.
• 
  
• Preparing /Posting and filling of Petty Cash
  Vouchers.
• 
  
• Receiving cash/ cheque from Sales order
  processors and promptly issuing Official Receipt for the same.
• 
  
• Preparation & Updation of Official Receipt an Posting into the Customer Ledger on a daily basis.
• 
  
• Preparation of Cheque Pay in Slip and ensuring that the cheques are deposited in bank on daily basis.
• 
  
• Cash Collected from SOP should be deposited in Bank also on Daily Basis.
• 
  
• Maintaining Cheque Return Register. Cheques Returned must be duly entered in the registered with proper details , and the returned cheques must be handed over to AR Co-ordinator for further action. And a copy must be retained in the file.
• 
  
• Post Dated Cheques : Maintaining a register of PDC Cheques. All Post Dated Cheques must be kept in the safe . And must be deposited in Bank on Cheque Date.
• 
  
• Filing of Petty Cash Vouchers / Receipts and Pay in Slip must be filed on a daily basis.
• 
  
• At the end of day, you should tally the cash with General Ledger . The same must be documented and must be initialled and verified by the Senior Accountant.
• 
  
• Shortage or Excess of cash must be informed to the FC immediately.
• 
  
• All Petty Cash Vouchers and Receipts must be given to the FC & CM on daily basis for their further approval as per authority matrix.
• 
  
• Verifying all cash Accounts of SOP and informing them to Settle the Cash Account as per credit policy.
• 
  
• Provide cover for other members of staff within the Section.
• 
  
• Shall adhere to company policy, including
  procedures related to QMS and EMS.
• 
  
• Performs other related jobs/tasks as required.
•
