On behalf of a leading multinational retailer we urgently require a Business Insights Consultant. Based in Riyadh and reporting to the Consumer & Business Insights Manager.
You will be responsible for rigorous analysis of Market, Trends, Competitors, Products, existing base and current campaigns via data mining, analytics and modeling.The analyst will work cross-functionally within Marketing and across the organisation to develop analytical solutions supporting a deeper understanding of food category insights, new product development initiatives as well as marketing programs.
Key Accountabilities
• Examine on going marketing campaigns and timely communicate results to Marcom.
• Develop and present all required reports for annual strategic planning of marketing team
• Participate and support pricing strategy periodically and as needed
• In-depth analysis & reporting of key findings on sales and GC per channel, day part, product category, platform and protein-wise of PMIX decomposition
• Regularly evaluates & review market trends, current events and opportunities that will impact the business
• Monitoring and converting low performing stores to profitable stores
• Reviewing and analyzing the market reports from Euromonitor, Argaam, SAMA and other credible market research agencies
• Developing insights for business challenges
• Developing value-adding reports and analysis for Leadership
• Reviews and approve all standard reports of Business Insights
• Managing and contact lead for third party service provider (RMS –revenue solutions, Euromonitor and Argaam – economy and market updates )
• Assist CBI lead to identify financial outcome to increase profitability.
• Create and maintain database for market data capturing.
• Offer insights to the CBI Lead about the products’ potential.
• Providing projections for upcoming products & Initial marketwise Allocations.
• Preparing and monitoring OPS incentive targets.
• Act as liaising coordinator for CBI with cross functional departments and MEDC(More Economically Developed Countries).
• Assist in technical training for CBI team members.
• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by CBI Lead & Leadership.
• Managing a full year calendar of research topics through a 3rd party provider
