As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for winning new accounts as well as growing and servicing existing accounts. You will also coordinate with our client’s local brokers and distributors to further maximize sales and ensure that all marketing and merchandising programs are fully executed.
Acquire new accounts in our client’s targeted retail channels in your assigned territory.Grow, service and retain current accounts.Interact and build relationships with Retail and District store managers; as well as with distributors and brokers where available.Educate Store Managers, District Managers and Distributors/Brokers about our client’s brand.Identify and target account alliances to secure sales, promotions, additional warm and cold space, demos and other sales growth opportunities.Represent our client’s brands at key trade, retail and consumer events.Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of sales and territory management experience in the Beverage Industry.A track record of success selling New Age, functional or similar bottled beverage brands to retail grocery chain outlets is a plus; however, all beverage sales experience will be considered. Ability to formulate and execute sales strategies in your assigned territory.Demonstrated influencing abilities along with demonstrated follow up skills.Travel and in-person interface with your accounts is an important part of the role. You must have a valid driver's license and own a suitable vehicle. Competent PC Skills - MS Word, Excel, etc.Build displays and restock products in coolers and on warm shelves to insure maximum availability to consumers.Proven experience working with and coordinating with distributors and brokers.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills that will effectively communicate our brand’s image and message to customers and consumers.Energetic self-motivation and a bias for action to deliver exceptional results.Willing to learn quickly and manage a large territory and customer base for growth.Passion for teamwork and helping others.
