Receive, check and enter all invoices for all goods and services purchased
Control correctness of invoices and prepare for payments
Participate to resolve any discrepancies between invoice and received goods and services
Manage and control payment of creditors
Prepare payment batches and create actual payments (EFT, cheque)
Comply with tax regulations in force related to AP transactions
Check for potential duplicate payments
Administer cash advances and employee expense reports
Reconcile supplier accounts on a regular basis
Reconcile inter-company accounts related to AP matters
Close Accounts Payable system on time in accordance with accounts closing schedules
Ensure accruals from previous month are reversed before posting new accruals
Prepare and review AP trial balance
Investigate all discrepancies relating to Accounts Payable matters
Review supplier financial data (e.g. bank addressee, etc.), enter bank reference & release
Match invoices with payments received on a daily basis
Identify and resolve differences arising from invoice matching
When necessary, raise credit notes to clear resolved differences
Comply with tax regulations in force for AR transactions
Manage returned customer payments from the bank
Reconcile Accounts Receivable to Sales and Inventory
Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis
Prepare accurate customer statements
Reconcile inter-company accounts linked to AR matters
Invoice customers for secondary activities
Ensure that previous month accruals are reversed before entering new accruals
Close Accounts Receivable system in a timely and reliable manner
Prepare and review AR trial balance
Investigate all discrepancies relating to Accounts Receivable matters
Perform the write off of transactions if it has been approved
